Participation of the Algerian Metrology Office in virtual seminars within the framework of Algerian-Russian cooperation.
These meetings provided an opportunity to address key topics, notably the Metre Convention, which forms the foundation of the International System of Units (SI) and global metrological cooperation. Discussions also focused on the mechanisms for the international recognition of measurement results, the requirements related to interlaboratory comparisons, as well as the practices of verification and calibration of measuring instruments applied in the Russian Federation.
These seminars are part of a dynamic of continuous cooperation, promoting the sharing of experiences, the harmonization of practices, and the development of the technical skills of OAM executives.
In this regard, the Algerian Metrology Office reaffirms its commitment to opening up to internationally recognized expertise and experiences in order to strengthen its role within the national metrology system and ensure the reliability of measurements in support of consumer protection and the country’s economic development.
